This elopement wedding day was STUNNING!!! The bride and groom’s wedding celebration took place at the epic Cliff House, Kapalua Maui, located on the Montage hotel property. This “micro” wedding was intimate, personal, and touching with so many great moments, which included, their heartfelt cards, zoom calling with their family and friends, and of course gorgeous video and dramatic drone shots!

Our experience with Hi Focused Cinematography was absolutely amazing! When my husband and I got married on Maui in October 2013 we were lucky enough to have Jordan film our wedding day and a golf game on the afternoon before the wedding! When I was doing research in finding a cinematographer, there was many to chose from, but I loved the creativity that Hi Focused had put together for other weddings and I knew they would be a great fit. And I was not wrong. Jordan is very responsive and listened to exactly what we were looking for. He was very easy to work with, very flexible and very informative on what to do, what we should expect and offered recommendations. Our wedding highlight film turned out amazing! I can’t stop watching it. Hi Focused did a great job putting it together and I will always refer them for videography. They were able to capture bits and pieces of our wedding and ceremony in a short video and bring me back to the moment it happened. Our wedding and ceremony was all outdoors and Hi Focused was prepared for all weather issues. Loved all the editing and couldn’t have asked for more!

This Maui wedding video was shot at the Olowalu Plantation House.
It’s one of my favorite places to video weddings on Maui.
The whales where jumping, the setting picturesque, the day was beautiful!
I was honored the couple picked me, especially because the bride and her dad
are videographers! The groom is a motivational speaker and business consaultant.
The couple’s vows were really touching and the groom’s speech was also very moving.

I could not give anyone a higher recommendation! I was so hesitant to get a wedding video because videos always seem so obtrusive. The groom didn’t even want to sign the contract because he felt videos are never watched and so dramatically boring and sappy. I went with my gut feeling and decided to work with you anyways. On our wedding day, you literally disappeared to me. I never knew where you were and I didn’t feel watched at all. When I got the video (less than week later!), it was perfect. You were obviously in all of the right places at the right time! My friends and family cannot stop raving about my wedding video; no one has ever seen anything like it and its opened up everyone’s eyes to “modern day videography”. My husband has also admitted that he was glad I went through with the video after all. It helped showcase our wedding to the many friends and family who could not make the trip to Maui for our nuptials. Thank you again, I would recommend you to anyone.
