What a spectacular day! The bride and groom got ready at the Marriott in Kaanapali Maui. After getting ready they arrived separately to Honolua forest for their first look. Honolua forest has stunning trees with an amazing canopy of green and flattering light. Following their first look they had their wedding ceremony on the beach, followed by sunset on the beautiful cliffs overlooking dramatic surf! Talk about three epic locations, the forest, the beach and the cliffs for sunset! Thank you Anna & Justin for having us film your day! It was incredible!
Lacey & Scott had their beautiful wedding celebration at the modern Andaz in Wailea, Maui. The design for this wedding was incredible with a flower arch lining the tree, unlike anything I’ve seen at the Andaz before. The bride and groom’s reception décor was equally as beautiful! This such a touching wedding with so many personal elements, a long with tender moments between the couple and shared by their closest friends and family. Merriman’s Kapalua is my favorite wedding venue on the North West side of Maui. It’s a renowned restaurant that features amazing views, farm-to-table cuisine and top notch service and it’s also an AMAZING wedding venue. Whether you are doing a full buy-out of the entire wedding venue or an intimate wedding celebration, this is one of the top wedding venues here on Maui. It’s beautifully located right on the water for epic sunset photography and videography with the bride and groom, it also is an incredible place to drone, showing off Maui’s beautiful ocean coast line. The mixture of elegant decor and stunning views make this one of my favorite Maui wedding venues to shoot a wedding film. Also the coordinators at Merriman’s are really professional and their list of preferred Maui wedding vendors are the industry’s best in the island.

Wow what an epic Maui proposal! Everything worked out so perfectly for this amazing engagement! Margaret-Ann had no idea. She just thought we were doing a video shoot of them, then Keith got down on one knee and popped the big question! And, of course, she said YES! 🙂 The logistics worked out beautifully. I organized the shoot locations and how it would all unfold. I even got to secretly mic Keith. This proposal took place at two of my very favorite locations to film on Maui!
