Olowalu Plantation House, Maui Wedding Venue
Located on Maui’s West Shore next to Olowalu Plantation House, this is one of my very favorite wedding venues. The pier is actually public (the house is obviously private), and you can park in a public parking lot so you don’t have to go through private property at all. Also please give priority to any wedding couple doing their sunset shots as they have paid a lot of money to have their wedding next door. This pier has amazing sunsets and great light shooting in a variety of directions. The way it sits over the water is breath taking and the location is perfect for epic drone shots. This is personally one of my favorite places to shoot any couple because I can drone, glidecam and shoot a variety of beautiful ways in one location. This location can be busy on weekends so I’d recommend going there on a weekday. Leoda’s bakery is across the street and has award winning pies and great sandwiches. To get there turn onto Olowalu Village Road, Lahaina, HI then take a left immediately and your first right will put you in a shabby looking parking lot.

Merriman’s Kapalua Maui Wedding Venue
Merriman’s Kapalua is my favorite wedding venue on the North West side of Maui.
It’s a renowned restaurant that features amazing views, farm-to-table cuisine and top notch service and it’s also an AMAZING wedding venue.
Whether you are doing a full buy-out of the entire wedding venue or an intimate wedding celebration, this is one of the top wedding venues here on Maui. It’s beautifully located right on the water for epic sunset photography and videography with the bride and groom, it also is an incredible place to drone, showing off Maui’s beautiful ocean coast line.
The mixture of elegant decor and stunning views make this one of my favorite Maui wedding venues to shoot a wedding film. Also the coordinators at Merriman’s are really professional and their list of preferred Maui wedding vendors are the industry’s best in the island.

Andaz Maui, Wailea Wedding Venue / HI FOCUSED
Retreat to Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, a luxury hotel set on 15 beachfront acres. Immerse yourself in the island spirit with regional farm-to-table dining, direct access to Mokapu Beach, and rooms boasting tropical views.
The ceremony location has a big open lawn with some shade and a good backdrop making the ceremony less backlit than some wedding venues which makes for better lighting.
The reception can be held adjacent to the ceremony location on another of their open lawn locations or up at their beautiful ballrooms. The beach in font of the property offers some gorgeous options for photo and video with the couple and there’s also pretty spots for a tropical green shoot on the hotel’s property. The Andaz Wailea has a stunning wedding design by their wedding planners and catering are some of the best in the wedding industry here

Four Seasons Wailea Maui Wedding Venue
The Four Seasons, Wailea is one of Maui’s top rated resort wedding venues and from my video you can tell why. This elegant wedding venue is located on in Wailea, Maui’s South Shore. It has beautiful Maui coastline, and great locations for any wedding day from small intimate wedding elopements to incredible full size ballroom wedding celebrations. As a Maui wedding videographer, I especially love the beautiful decor that the professional wedding coordinators at the Four Seasons design. It’s also not a crowded or huge resort making your wedding day feel like just your closest family and friends and logistically it’s convenient without a lot of walking, making wedding videography and photography easier for you and for your wedding vendors.
Another reason to pick Four Seasons Wailea, Maui is that it is located on the dry side of the island so the likelihood that your destination wedding is rained out is very low. The beautiful decor, gorgeous wedding location, coastal venues, ocean, and professional service make Maui’s Four Seasons Wailea one of my all time favorite wedding resorts to make a stunning Maui wedding film! The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua
The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua Maui Resort is my favorite wedding venue to film destination weddings on the West side of Maui. It’s a stunning Maui resort featuring many different ceremony and reception location options. The bride and groom can have their destination wedding ceremony at several beautiful location on the Ritz property. The Napili lawn is a great open space with a scenic ocean view backdrop. There’s lot of space for big ceremonies and it’s pretty close to the Anuenue Ballroom for their reception after the ceremony.
The Beach House is my personal favorite ceremony location, privately set away from the main resort and close to the water and beach for sunset shots following the ceremony. For the reception locations some wedding couples have their reception down at the Beach House or up at the two elegant ballroom locations, the Anuenue Ballroom or the Plantation Ballroom.
