A videographer was one thing that I didn’t have in our original budget. I thought we could do without it. I had seen other wedding videos in the past and didn’t think that they were that special. Then I saw Hi Focused at a local wedding show. I didn’t know wedding videos could be that creative and professionally done. I knew I had to have them for our event and after receiving our DVD, we are thrilled that we spent the money on this. Even though we were married just over 6 weeks ago, it seems like a blur. Having our video from Hi Focused is the only way that we’ll ever be able to relive our day. I appreciate it right now – but I’m sure in 20 years, we will appreciate it even more.

Tamira hired me to be her wedding videographer for this Harrisburg wedding.

This wedding was part of a chain off on the Capitol steps.

The group called Dogs Deserve Better dogsdeservebetter.org is acting in support of two tethering bills: HB 826, which was introduced in the House in February by Rep. Scavello, and SB 972, which was introduced in the Senate in April by Sen. Alloway. These bills would limit the amount of time a dog could spend chained each day, and provide some protection for extreme weather conditions of heat, cold, and storms.

I’m very pleased with how their wedding film turned out.
This is the first short form wedding I have shot and edited.
Their Journalistic wedding was almost two hours
so with the short form I condensed down all the best parts
to a highly polished 19 minute edit with all their best moment
but with out sacrificing meaningful content.
If they want to see anything not in the short form, it’s included in the Journalistic edit.
The short form is only offered on the HI FOCUSED Signature Package.

Oahu wedding videography: same day edit by Hi Focused

Oahu wedding videography: same day edit.   This is the first two camera same day edit I’ve done.  A same day edit is where you shoot and then edit the ceremony, to display at the reception later that day.  It adds many challenges, time being the biggest challenge.  To have enough time to capture, edit and display a piece to the couple and all their guests is no easy task.  So this is exactly how they saw it.  I made no changes to the edit that they saw.  It was a rewarding task but a very intense one as well.
Especially since the ceremony was late so it put even more pressure on me!

Highlights of Katlyn and Seth’s wedding video.  This is the first wedding of the year for me and I had some new gear for it. Shooting with DSLR photo cameras especially the 7D and 5D is all the rage in video now. As you can get that shallow depth of field (where the background is blurry and just your subject is in focus) you can also get some really nice macro shots. Here’s a good start to the wedding year!
